Credits & Story

Situated on the 26th floor of LinkedIn's San Francisco tower at 222 Second Street, The Link is a stunning, hospitality-driven specialty coffee bar and amenity lounge designed entirely around the beauty of human connection. The space steps away from traditional workplace design, embracing a rich, jewel-toned palette of olive-green limewash walls and sweeping green velvet curtains that wrap the room in rich, intimate warmth. Perched high above the city, cushy banquettes, bar-height counters, and cozy lounge nooks frame expansive skyline views, offering a vibrant haven for informal meetups away from computer screens. Every layer of the design celebrates the spirit of pairing, from shelves stocked with books chronicling iconic history-making duos to a charming collection of vintage salt-and-pepper shakers behind the espresso bar, and symbiotic plant life thoughtfully layered so shade-loving flora thrives beneath tall sun-seekers.

My favorite detail

The signature coffee bar features a custom drink crafted specifically to be shared between two people, served in striking cobalt blue carafes and matching mugs. It transforms a simple afternoon coffee run into a meaningful ritual of togetherness, creating an intentional moment for colleagues to pause, connect, and enjoy the view side by side.
